Four Things to Know this Week: 3/2/18
This is the launch of a **new** newsletter to update you on the happenings here at Pederson Seed and Services as well as what is going on in the region. They will come weekly or monthly, whatever the season dictates. We will try and keep them short and sweet--and always with the latest information.
1Thank you to all who attended the 2018 Crop Shop!
Two sessions of our 2018 Crop Shop were held last Thursday. Thank you to everyone who attended. We appreciate your business and the exchange of ideas that happen when we all get together.
We had two excellent guest speakers. Daryl Allen, a regional account manager with DowDupont, discussed how the merger will affect producers. Jon Scheve discussed marketing strategies to employ in your operation.
Our product placement fact sheet is a great resource as we move towards planting. Check out this summary of corn and soybean products for strengths and weaknessess of our 2018 lineup.

A pdf of the slides presented by the Pederson Team is available if you missed the meeting or would like them for a reference. Lots of great material on temperature and moisture during the past growing season, emergence, nutrient removal, potash rates, fungicide and insecticide, seed treatments, and seeding rates are available in the pdf. We'd be happy to answer any questions you may have on the material. Click on the image below to view results.
